Belgium

Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever expressed concern over a plan to lend frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. This renewed opposition to the plan stems from concerns that, if Russia files a lawsuit, Belgium will be left solely responsible.

North Korea

The North Korean hacking group Lazarus is suspected of being responsible for the theft of 45 billion won (USD 30.6 million) in cryptocurrency. The group has been suspected of other cryptocurrency thefts in the past. In 2019, it occurred when the North Korean regime was trying to raise money amid a foreign currency shortage.

Tajikistan

Tajikistan’s Foreign Office confirmed that three Chinese workers were killed by armed drones and firearms emanating from Afghanistan. The drone dropped grenades while there was a firearms attack.
