United States
The Pentagon is sparing with SpaceX over rising Starlink costs. Starlink officials told the Pentagon that they are paying $5,000 per terminal and using a high-tier service, which should cost them $25,000 per terminal per month. The argument started over the US’s use of its LUCAS drones, which are a similar drone to that of the Iranian Sahed. The Pentagon claims that the $25,000 fee applies to aircraft, not drones, which use Starlink’s connection for minutes rather than hours.
Iran ceasefire
The US struck a ground control station in the southern port area of Bandar Abbas. Iran retaliated against the base where the attack originated. Few details are out there as to what Iran fired at the base. Kuwait condemned Iran’s drone and missile attacks on its territory.
